纳戈尔·鲁米教授, 印度退休英语语言文学教授访问Jamiyah疗养院 (之家分支Syifaa) 周三, 6个月 2017. He was accompanied by Mr Haja Nizamudeen PBM, Vice Chairperson of Care Committee of North East Community Development Council. The visitors were welcomed by Dr Saleem, Vice President I of Jamiyah Singapore, Ustaz Rafiuddin Ismail, 秘书长, and Mr Tiwari, Director of Jamiyah Nursing Home. They were briefed of the various healthcare and wellness services of Jamiyah Nursing Home. Prof Rumi, an accomplished academician, who has published more than fifty books, mentioned that Jamiyah’s mission of reaching out to the elderly in the area of healthcare is worthy of emulation by non-governmental organizations with a similar mission in countries like India. Mr Haja Nizamudeen, expressed the hope that some of the outreach programmes such as Dementia Awareness Symposium could be carried out in the North East District also. He looks forward to discuss on this with Jamiyah officials soon.
