‘Walk with Your Family’ on Mother’s Day 2018

Jamiyah Singapore in collaboration with People’s Association held a “Walk with Your Family” event to celebrate Mother’s Day on 13 Mungkin 2018 at National Stadium.

Lebih daripada 1,000 participants took part in the walk and other activities such as DIY Batik Painting.

For every 10 participants, an underprivileged woman will get to attain three life skills courses to upgrade themselves and prepare for the workforce.

Mr Desmond Lee, Menteri Pembangunan Sosial dan Keluarga & Second Minister for National Development graced the event as Guest of Honor and launched the annual 26th Exemplary Mother’s Award, organised by Jamiyah Singapore.

Present at the occasion was Dr. Yacob Ibrahim, Former Minister for Communications and Information and Minister in-Charge of Muslim Affairs.
