3 月 9, 2018University Students Visits Jamiyah Nursing Home
Students from Royal College of Art, London, National Technological University, School of Art, Design & Media, and Lasalle College of Arts visited Jamiyah Nursing Home for an educational visit on 7 游行 2018.
The objective of this visit is for these design students to develop design solutions for the needy and specific communities such as for the aged and sick. It also encourages them to engage with other communities and issues to people in need and to get them outside the design studio environment for them to contribute meaningfully for the society. This will help them understand how organisations such as Jamiyah Singapore work and caring for the elderly with the different techniques and equipment.
They were welcomed by Jamiyah Officials, H M萨利姆博士, 蒂瓦里先生, Ms Bhavana Rao and staff of Jamiyah Nursing Home. The students were accompanied by, A/P Peer M Sathikh (Associate Chair, Academic, National Technological University, School of Art, Design and Media) and Mr Matthias Hillner (Head of School Design Communications, Lasalle College of Arts).
