Singapore Buddhist Lodge 70th Hong Bao Distribution

Singapore Buddhist Lodge 70th Hong Bao distribution was held at the auditorium of the Singapore Buddhist Lodge on 3rd February 2018 with Mr Chan Chun Sing, Minister in the Prime Minister’s Office as the Guest-of-Honor for the distribution. A total of close to $1 Million were distributed to more than 10,000 beneficiaries of all races and faith this year, a 10% increase from last year. This is an annual tradition taken by its Welfare Foundation in collaboration with Jamiyah Singapore and Taoist Federation (Singapore). Also at the occasion was President of Jamiyah Singapore Professor (Adj) Dr Mohd Hasbi Abu Bakar, President of The Singapore Buddhist Lodge (SBL), Mr Tan Lee Huak, Chairman of Taoist Federation (Singapore), Mr Tan Thiam Lye, officials from Jamiyah Singapore, donors and volunteers.
