March 19, 2018Officials of Jamiyah Singapore on a Study Trip to Tokyo
Mr Mohd Shariff & Mr Mohd Faizal, Head & Deputy Head of Jamiyah Halfway House (Darul Islah) respectively participated in a study trip to Tokyo from 12 -15 March 2018.
19 officials from Singapore Prison Service, SCORE & CARE Network agencies went on the study trip.
The focus of the study trip is to understand more about the ‘Volunteer Probation Officers’ Programme in Japan. The programme involves the community volunteers who provide supervision and guidance to ex-offenders to understand how they are coping outside prison and their reintegration to the community.
