February 1, 2018Official Opening Ceremony of GCDC @ Tampines
Jamiyah Singapore’s Global Child Development at Tampines (GCDC @ Tampines) official ceremony opening was held on 27th January 2018. The centre was officially opened by Mr Masagos Zulkifli Bin Masagos Mohamad, Minister for the Environment and Water Resources.
One of the centre’s educational tool is to instil nature appreciation and care in young children and in conjunction with the opening ceremony, Tampines Town Council has allocated a gardening site for the centre. This gardening site offers team bonding activities for the young children, parents and local community and it will be a permanent feature.
Minister Mr Masagos Zulkifli Bin Masagos Mohamad planted fruit plants at the garden to symbolically launch the gardening theme of GCDC @ Tampines.
