‘Healthy Home’ Happy Family Carnival 2018 at Jamiyah Nursing Home

‘Healthy Home’ Happy Family Carnival 2018 was held at Jamiyah Nursing Home on 3rd February 2018. This event is a collaboration and organised by Ng Teng Fong General Hospital. Chief Executive Officer of Ng Teng Fong General Hospital, Mr Foo Hee Jug graced the event.

Health education booths such as Oral hygiene, Healthy eating, Interactive games, Hearing test and Advanced Care Planning manned by a multi-disciplinary healthcare team were there to help residents of Jamiyah Nursing Home to educate and understand health information. This helps them to make appropriate health decisions and take better charge of their own health.

More than $15,000 were raised by the hospital staff to donate wheelchairs, commodes and television sets for the residents that were presented to Jamiyah Nursing Home at the carnival.
