A CNY FUDAI 2018 Goodie Bag and Hong Bao distribution was held at Jamiyah Headquarters on 10th February 2018. Guest-Of Honor President of Jamiyah Singapore, Professor (Adj) Dr Mohd Hasbi Abu Bakar presented these goodie bags.
This distribution was organised by Philanthropist Group called Heartwarmers Volunteer Group. Officials of Heartwarmers group present were, Mr Foo Say Thye, Advisor for Heartwarmers Group and Representatives of the group, Mr Teo Gene En, Ms Sim Wei Xi, Mr Ong Cheng Chuen, Ms Chan Wai Mun and Mr Tee Wen Qing.
This event is an effort to give back to the needy families in Singapore during the festive period of Chinese New Year.
A total of 40 beneficiaries of Jamiyah’s Community Outreach and Development Department (CODD) Services received these goodie bags (valued at $200) along with Hong Bao envelopes containing $150 each.
Also present at the occasion were officials of Jamiyah Singapore Mr Yunos Shariff, Dr Isa Hassan, Mr Shariff Yatim, Mr Jaffar Mydin and Mr Subramaniam.
