Jamiyah Early Childhood Education Graduation Ceremony 2018

Jamiyah Pre-schoolers’ PRAISE-worthy Performance at Graduation Ceremony Sixty-nine K2 students of various races from Jamiyah Kindergarten, Jamiyah Childcare Centre, Global Child Development Centre (GCDC) @ Tampines and GCDC @ Woodlands, staged a dazzling display to showcase their centres’ PRAISE values at their graduation ceremony.

The event was held at the Marine Parade Community Club on Sunday 18 November 2018 and was graced by Mr Patrick Tay, MP for West Coast GRC, as the Guest-of-Honour. With the theme ‘Learning Journey Towards A New World’, students from each centre performed a play or dance to the stories of Singapura Dilanggar Todak and Shakira’s Try Everything. PRAISE is the acronym for the six learning dispositions – Perseverance, Reflectiveness, Appreciation, Inventiveness, Sense of Wonder & Curiosity, and Engagement – that are inculcated in the students of Jamiyah’s early childhood education centres.
